Nights in the Éislek can feel chilly even during the warmer months. Dress more warmly than you would for the daytime forecast.

Yes. Family Adventure is recommended from around 6 years old and is designed to remain visual, accessible and interactive. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Do we need astronomy experience or a telescope?
No. Nightwise provides the observing equipment and guides your family step by step. No previous astronomy knowledge is required.
What can we expect to observe?
Targets depend on the season and sky conditions. They may include the Moon, planets, double stars, star clusters, nebulae and distant galaxies.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
Because this is an outdoor astronomy experience, the session may be rescheduled if conditions are unsuitable. The applicable options are explained in the Nightwise reschedule and refund policy.
Can we book a private or custom date?
Yes. Custom dates can be arranged for households, birthdays, private groups, schools and organisations. Contact Nightwise with your preferred date, group size and language.
What should we bring?
Bring warm layers, sturdy outdoor shoes and, if you like, a hot drink. You do not need to bring a telescope or binoculars.
