Learn to photograph the Milky Way under real night skies

A practical outdoor astrophotography workshop in the Éislek region for beginners, intermediate photographers and curious night-sky lovers.

During this session, Nightwise guides you through the essential steps of Milky Way photography directly in the field: preparing your equipment, focusing in the dark, choosing the right settings, and understanding how to frame the night sky with the landscape.

The workshop focuses on practical shooting rather than complicated theory. You will learn how to work with your own camera setup, avoid common beginner mistakes, and collect the material needed for a clean, natural-looking Milky Way image.

Please bring a camera with manual controls or a suitable smartphone, a tripod, charged batteries, free memory space, warm clothing and comfortable shoes. This workshop depends on suitable sky conditions and may be rescheduled if the weather is not favourable.
